BIOGRAPHY

Brooklyn businessman Sal Monella, Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame disc jockey Scott Muni, gossip columnist Liz Smith, James Brown, Hindu stand-up comic Shecky Bhuta, American-bashing Japanese comedian Buddy Miyagi, the Once-and-Future Heavyweight Champion of the World Iron Mike Tyson, and all four of The Beatles. A guest list from The Dinner Party From Hell? No, these are merely some of the myriad alter-egos of comedian, writer and actor, Rob Bartlett, whose talents can be heard every morning on the radio. Rob started his career at Richard M. Dixon’s White House Inn, where he met a 17-year-old Eddie Murphy, and the two became friends, as well as two-thirds of the trio, “The Identical Triplets.” When the group broke up after Eddie’s debut on “Saturday Night Live,” Rob went on as a solo act and became a headliner in comedy clubs across the country. In 1986, Rob became a regular guest of radio’s Don Imus. When the station was sold and the Imus moved to the WFAN studios, Rob became a contract player, writing and performing some of the show’s more popular cast of characters. Rob’s television credits include starring roles on “What’s Alan Watching?” and “Move the Crowd.” He has done his stand-up act on “Late Night with David Letterman,” “Stand-up Spotlight” on VH1, and “The Joe Franklin Show.” Rob Bartlett brings hilarious fun to any event.
