American indie rock band Local Natives is based in the Los Angeles area- Silver Lake, California. Their debut album, Gorilla Manor, was first released in the UK in November 2009, and later released in the US on February 16, 2010. The album received positive reviews and debuted on the Billboard 200 and at No. 3 in the New Artist Chart. Their second album, Hummingbird, was released in January 2013. Their third album, Sunlit Youth, was released in September 2016. Their fourth album, Violet Street, was released April 2019. The band has made guest appearances on numerous television and YouTube music series in between countless sold out shows and festival appearances – including a standout Coachella 2017 set – they’ve graced the stages of Austin City Limits, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Late Show With James Corden, Ellen, Jimmy Kimmel Live and more.
